Micro Mania Wrestling
BAMP Project will present this live wrestling event at 8 p.m. Jan. 10-11. This is an all-ages accompanied by an adult show. The matchup pits Mini Pacquiao against Mini McGregor. It will also feature the Battling Bombshells. Tickets are $30 for reserved seating and $80 for stage seating with a $5 increase the day of the show.
Blaisdell Concert Hall
An evening with the singer will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets range from $27 to $79.
Hailing from Kauai, Square Shapes will play rock on Friday. Other bands in the evening’s lineup include Granite Saints and Titans of Siren. The show starts at 9 p.m. and there is a $5 cover charge. In addition, on Saturday, Jan. 11, listen to more rock starting at 8:30 p.m. with Shoot 2 Thrill, Nitro Fische and Black Rose
Multi-instrumentalist Haze and Yoko Miyakawa on viola will perform at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 10. This all ages show will have a $5 cover charge. Other acts this week at the club include Stephen Inglis project featuring Tavana, and Kahala Records Showcase, both at 8 p.m. Jan. 11.
Saturday, Jan. 11
Year of the Rat
Salt at Our Kakaako
The Year of the Rat will come alive at 11 a.m. with a free community celebration. It will feature a traditional lion dance to ring in Chinese New Year. The festivities will also include a martial arts demonstration and more.(saltatkakaako.com)
Hula and music
Ka Makana Alii
In celebration of the new year, Halau Hula O Hokulani will offer free hula lessons and demonstrations at an open registration event at Center Court from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all ages. In addition, musicians Daniel Nakashima and Kupaoa will be serenading shoppers from 4:45 to 7:30 p.m.
Narcissus Queen Pageant
The 71st annual pageant at 8 p.m. will feature nine participants competing in four areas — judges’ interview, talent Chinese evening gown and speech. Tickets are $25-$30.
Sunday, Jan. 12
Punk legends D.O.A.
Hi Tide Nation presents Canada’s legendary punk kings who helped spread counterculture around the world, will play from 9 to 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $22 plus service charge in advance or $30 at the door. Opening guests are Antimatter and 13th Legion. The show is for ages 21 and up.
Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii
As part of its New Year’s tradition, the center will celebrate with the 27th annual free event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will feature food, entertainment, Japanese dance, martial arts and other cultural demonstrations.

Doris Duke Theatre
From top Bollywood numbers to Indian folk, classical traditions to sensuous fusions, Aaja Nachle Hawaii will bring a spectacular and spirited dance concert to the stage at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 or $25 museum members and $15 student tickets are available with valid ID at the door.

The Swim Club
Hawaii’s Finest presents recording artist Kalae Parish, an acoustic musician who specializes in island music with a splash of country. The Mahina Lounge Live event at The Surfjack will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.

The performer will take the stage from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Other performers this week include Preston Kauwe on Jan. 14 and Mark Caldeira on Jan. 15.

The performer will take the stage from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Other acts at the same location this week include Christian Yrizarry on Jan. 13, Maiko on Jan. 15 and Ryan Tenney on Jan. 16.

Blue Note Hawaii
Stand-up comedian, podcaster and actor Shaffir will perform, with special guest Chino LaForge. Tickets are premium $35.50, loge $30.50, bar $25.50. Shows are at 6:30 and 9 p.m.
The group will celebrate its 20th anniversary tour with this 6:30 p.m. show for ages 18 and up. Tickets are $25 with a $4.32 service fee. Guests include Enders, Complex and Above Reproach.
Kimo Artis Duo
The dynamic pair led by Artis will play from 7 to 10 p.m. at the restaurant’s Honolulu location.
