American Idol Filming
Ryan Seascrest announced that television juggernaut American Idol will be filming showcase rounds Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26 at Disney Aulani Resort and Spa in Koolina with judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan. The filming will take place to coincide with Lionel Richie’s concerts at Blaisdell Arena. Promoter Rick Bartalini Presents recently released excellent floor seats for both shows. (ticketmaster.com)

State Champs Live at The Republik

Bike Party of the Year
Hawaii Bicycling League (HBL) is having its annual dinner and fundraiser at the Waikiki Aquarium. This year’s theme is “Life is a Beautiful Ride”. Autocross
