Honoring Hawaii’s Finest
An event titled Honoring Hawaii’s Finest, Tiffany Enriquez and Kaulike Kalama will be held at 8 p.m. The event is for ages 18 and up and tickets are $25 pre-sale and $35 at the door. Performers will include Maoli, Kapena and B.E.T. All proceeds will be donated to the families of officers Enriquez and Kalama.
Honolulu Museum of Art
This month’s event from 6 to 9 p.m. titled Looking Glass is inspired by the large-scale visions featured in the museum’s Immersive Spaces exhibition, remixed with elements of Carroll’s Wonderland. It’s free for museum members, $30 for nonmembers. Advance ticket sales only.

Enjoy this free event starting at 5 p.m. in the East Side Courtyard with Chinese calligraphy by Ina Chang, arts and crafts and more. At 5:30 p.m. the Asian Lion Dance Team will perform.
Hawaii Symphony Orchestra presents Star Wars: A New Hope in Concert at the concert hall Jan. 31 from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $27, $42, $59, $75 and $89. The event will repeat Feb. 1 with shows at 2 and 8 p.m.

The group will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a concert at 9 p.m. Tickets are bar and loge $25, premium $35 and VIP $45.
Saturday, Feb. 1
Lunar New Year
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. meet the Miss Chinatown court, enjoy a kung fu demonstration and watch as the Wah Ngai Lion Dance Association Team performs a pole-jumping exhibition. From 2 to 5 p.m., the Associated Chinese University Women’s organization will provide free cultural activities.
The magical tale of Cinderella will be held with a free performance at 11:30 a.m. in The Barn in SALT at Our Kakaako. This will be a Hawaii Opera Theatre (HOT) Opera Express production. There will be a special meet and greet with the cast after the performance.
