The performer will play from 8 to 10 p.m. Other artists playing at that location this weekend include Ernest Chang on Sept. 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by Scott Magz from 8 to 10 p.m. In addition, David Sedlak will play on Sept. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Celebrate all things Hawaiian at the first-ever Hoolaulea at the center from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Enjoy hula and entertainment by the students of Na Maka O Puuwai Aloha. Aloha Festivals hosts this 67th annual block party from 6 to 9:30 p.m. The area will be transformed with booths showcasing Hawaii cuisine, crafts and culture. Four stages with entertainment will highlight the evening’s activities.
SALT at Our Kakaako
This event starting at 5 p.m. will feature German-style food, drinks, live Oktoberfest music from the Oom Pah Zicke Zackes Trio, a stein-hoisting competition, giveaways and more. Admission is free, with a free stein offered to the first 400 guests.
Frank Fasi Grounds
This Honolulu event from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. is a celebration of island-style plant-based, sustainable living. Activities include cooking demos, educational speakers, vegan food vendors, yoga and dance classes and continuous live music. Free entry and parking are available.
Kailua Night Market
The market takes place every third Saturday of the month at 340 Uluniu St. from 5 to 9 p.m. It’s a family and pet-friendly free event showcasing local vendors, food, a pet adoption event and live performances.
Think Fast Improv
This improv group will celebrate its birthday with a night of friends and laughs. Special guest comedian Chad Wago will return to the stage. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 at the door.

A half-day workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will explore the history of fiber materials and their place in contemporary art. This event is open to the public and there is a $10 materials fee. Registration is required online. In addition, a free panel discussion will be held at the museum the same day from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on how marketing arts and crafts in Hawaii is changing.

The country music trio will play at 8 p.m. This show is for all ages accompanied by an adult over age 18. Ticket prices are $45 general admission with a $5 increase the day of the show.
