This will be a special event celebrating Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, an ancient Mexican tradition honoring the dearly departed. This event from 6 to 9 p.m. is a pre-sale ticketed event only available at the museum’s events webpage and tickets will not be sold at the door. Prices are $25 for members, $40 for nonmembers and the event includes Mexican inspired cuisine.

The vocalist/guitarist will play at Los Garcia’s in Kailua Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. He will also play at Nico’s Upstairs on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. and every Tuesday at Hawaiian Brian’s from 8 to 11 p.m.

This 12th annual music, arts and craft beer festival will kick off at 5 p.m. on Nuuanu Avenue and surrounding streets spreading Halloween cheer with thousands of costumes. The American Cancer Society will hold its Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk to raise awareness and funds to save lives in the fight against the disease. Check-in is at 6 a.m. and the walk starts at 7 a.m.
Hear the ultimate Fleetwood Mac tribute show with special guests Kings of Spade. Show time is at 8 p.m. The show is for all ages accompanied by an adult age 18 and up. Tickets are $29.50 general admission with a $5 increase the day of the show.

A big Waikiki costume celebration returns at 8 p.m. Suit up as a hero or villain, and the evening will feature tricks, treats, prizes and more at this ages 21 and up event.
