Club Underground
Downbeat Lounge hosts a night of awesome underground live bands and dance rock DJs. YouTube artists and celebrities will join together at The Modern Honolulu for the Aloha Concert, starting at 7:30 p.m. The event features Joseph Vincent and LeendaDProducitons, who will perform for the first time in Honolulu. Gamer Expo HI
The second edition of Hawaii’s largest gaming event is set to take off from noon to 10 p.m. at Ala Moana Hotel Hibiscus Ballrooms. HOWL-LO-WEEN BOO-LY BASH
Howl-Lo-Ween Boo-Ly Bash is a sanctioned ABKC show that features two dog confirmation and two junior handler shows, plus a show for dogs called Unleash the Beast. This year’s event takes place at Barbers Point Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There also will be a costume contest for keiki, dogs and family, as well as food and drink vendors. Fall Teen Massive with Johnny Pastrami
Hawaii Teen Fest presents Fall Teen Massive with DJ Johnny Pastrami performing live at The Republik. This is only for teens (13-18 years old). Jonathan “DJ Johnny Pastrami” Inui is a local boy who just toured with Rebel Souljahz on their “Rise of the Rebels” 2015 Spring Tour across the Pacific Northwest and Las Vegas. BAMP Project presents Less Than Jake and Reel Big Fish at The Republik.
Less Than Jake is back. Throughout a career that has run the gamut from self-releases and small indie imprints to large independent labels and major music conglomerates, the band has always been more than the sum of its parts. Reel Big Fish was one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-’90s success of No Doubt and Sublime.
