Young the Giant: Home of the Strange Tour 
BAMP Project presents Young the Giant: Home of the Strange Tour performing live at The Republik. Since the band’s 2010 inception, Young the Giant has made a name for itself in rock as the “thinking man’s band,” winning over fans, radio, and press with their incendiary live shows, strong musicianship, and poignant lyrics. Dhevhan Keith Live
Singer-songwriter Dhevhan Keith performs for happy hour from 6 to 8 p.m. at Downbeat Lounge. Admission is free for those 21 and older. After that, The Freak Folk Show takes place starting at 9 p.m., featuring performances by Billy Sage, Lucie & The Perfect Wave, Sean Cleland Band and Tavana; admission is $5 for those 21 and older. Oahu Fringe Festival
The much anticipated Oahu Fringe Festival makes it way to Chinatown until Jan. 15 — events kicked off Jan. 12. The Oahu Fringe Festival is open to any and all performing artists; this gives all involved a place to showcase their work in an atmosphere of community and creativity. Similar to other Fringe festivals around the world, O’ahu Fringe feature performances in a variety of genres. This year there is shadow puppetry, theatre, dance, solo work, video installations, and a live podcast show brought to you by a diverse range of artists. Shows run at The ARTS at Marks Garage, Ong King Arts Centre, NextDoor and Studio 114. Tickets for each show are $10, Sundays are $8 for those 12 and under. (oahufringe.com)

The Naked and Famous Live
BAMP Project presents The Naked and Famous live at The Republik. After a hugely successful sold out Republik show back in 2014 The Naked and Famous are finally back. Los Angeles-based New Zealanders The Naked And Famous are currently writing and recording their third album and preparing for an early 2016 return to the stage. 65th Cherry Blossom Festival Public Appearance
The 65th Cherry Blossom Festival’s public appearance takes place from noon to 1 p.m. at Kahala Mall. The 15 Queen Contestants will practice their public speaking skills, and Ryukyu Koten Afuso-ryu Ongaku Kenkyuu Choichi Kai will perform.
