The Hawaii singer will headline with a show from 7 to 9 p.m. This is a free event for ages 21 and up.
Join the opener from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the bar for the local art showcase featuring Leonardo Hartomo. The show presented by MORI, Brue Bar and Leather Soul will be on view until March 2020.
Blaisdell Concert Hall
The Broadway musical comes to Hawaii with shows at 2 and 8 p.m. Dec. 27-28, and 1 and 6:30 p.m. Dec. 29. A limited number of $24.50 lottery tickets are available for in-person purchases at the Blaisdell Box Office on the day of each performance only. There is a special discounted rate for students for the matinee performance on Friday, Dec. 27 for $25 plus fees for any open seat and only while supplies last. Regularly priced tickets start at $50.
K-pop and rock
Experience K-pop videos all night long Friday, Dec. 27 with doors open at 9 p.m. and a $5 cover charge. Then, listen to rock on Saturday, Dec. 28 with bands including Storm, Cyclone Prime and Aaronsrod with doors open at 8 p.m. The show starts at 9 p.m. and tickets and the charge is $10.
Saturday, Dec. 28
Rinse the Season
First Bass HNL presents this event at Downbeat Lounge. It will feature drum and bass sets by Honolulu’s premier DJs. The event for ages 21 and up starts at 9 p.m. and there is a $5 cover charge. In addition, on Dec. 27, DJ Jet Boy will present Kaleidoscope with live rock performances.
This big music festival from 4 to 11 p.m. will close out the year with headliners Marshmello (pictured), Usher, Ice Cube, Migos and Ice Cube. Other performers include Saweetie, Sammy Johnson, Breanna Rubio, Jordyn Jones and DJ D Sharp. Tickets start at $40.84. VIP tickets and cabanas are also available.
Aloha Karaoke Band
Join the fun and be a star at the sports bar and grill. The event starts at 8 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 29
New Year with WAR
Blue Note Hawaii
A part of America’s musical cultural landscape, the band will play shows Dec. 29-30 at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Tickets for those shows are VIP seating $75, table and booth seating $55 and bar area $45. The group will also play two shows on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Tickets for the 8 p.m. show that night are VIP seating $95, table and booth seating $75 and bar area $65. Tickets for the 11 p.m. show are VIP seating $150, table and booth seating $95 and bar area $85.
Monday, Dec. 30
Maui Brewing Kailua
The performer will play from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Other performers this week at that location include David Sedlak on Dec. 29 and Preston Kauwe on Dec. 31.
Tuesday, Dec. 31
The resort in Waikiki Beach will hold a New Year’s Eve celebration from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. featuring a whimsical Arabian theme. Music includes headliner Ravi Drums, DJ Evil One, DJ Anit and many more. A portion of the evening’s ticket sales will be donated to Hoola Na Pua, supporting youth survivors of human trafficking. Tickets are $125 for general admission and will be $150 at the door on New Year’s Eve. VIP tickets will be $400 at the door. This is an ages 21 and over event and stylish attire is required.
A New Year’s Eve band performance featuring J.P. Smoketrain’s All Stars with Bob Hernandez, Steve Miles, Eddie Scales, Kirk Thompson and special guests will perform from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The show features blues, R&B, jazz and soul. Tickets are $20 presale by calling 254-3364 or $25 at the door
The Hard Rock Café
Celebrate a New Year’s Eve party from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with rock band Cutting Edge performing covers of songs from the 1980s featuring Journey, Queen, Bon Jovi, Guns N’ Roses and Whitesnake. There is no cover charge, but table reservations for groups should be made in advance as soon as possible.
DJ Jet Boy
Close out the decade with killer dance rock jams. The event for ages 21 and up starts at 10 p.m. and there is no cover charge.

Check out this New Year’s Eve Party in Kahuku featuring G. Love’s Hawaiian Islands Jam with Ron Artis II. The event is for ages 21 and up and doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $98.15 and include pupus and a midnight champagne toast.
New Year’s Eve
Join the party and dance the night away from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with music by Saint Heron and DJ/producer Kyle Woods. Tickets are $50 at the door, free for hotel guests and Swim Club VIPs, and $25 for Swim Club members. The event for ages 21 and up includes complimentary midnight champagne toast, video booth and more.

The comedian will ring in the New Year with two special guests, Sarah Silverman and Bobby Slayton. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $45.50, $65.50 and $95.50, plus service fees, available at Ticketmaster and the box office.
The record producer and DJ will perform at a New Year’s Eve celebration at 9 p.m. The event is for ages 18 and up. Tickets range from $50 to $125 general admission with a $5 increase the day of the show.
Town Center of Mililani
The center rings in 2020 with festivities featuring Kimberley Locke as this year’s headliner. Entertainment starts at 5 p.m. with a 12-foot-tall pineapple descending at 7 p.m.

This is a poetry slam for all ages hosted by Kealoha. Doors open with poet sign-ins at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $3 before 8:30 p.m. and $5 after.
