BAMP Project presents Jhene Aiko performing live at The Republik. In her words: “I am a mother to a beautiful girl named Namiko. I am a baby sister to three brothers, three sisters and a big sister to one. The daughter of Christina Yamamoto and Karamo Chilombo but, more relevantly, I am the Daughter of Water, Earth and the Sun.” Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo, known as Jhené Aiko or Jhené, is an American singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. A Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer who plays many instruments, Ty Dolla $ign (born Tyrone Griffin) collaborated with YG on the 2010 single “Toot It and Boot It.” BAMP Resident DJ Delve and local hip-hop act Broke Mokes open the show while DJ Hapa Boy closes out the night at The Republik until 2 a.m. The official after party takes place downstairs at The District Nightclub featuring TY Dolla $ign’s DJ Dre Sinatra for everyone over 21 until 4 a.m. Tickets are available online.
