Raising Hell
Downbeat Lounge gears up for Raising Hell with performances by The Sunstrokes, Rubix Cube, Lucie & the Perfect Wave, and Even Odders. The Sunstrokes blow guests away with their alternative-rock feel. Lucie & the Perfect Wave features a fusion of slack-key guitarist Michael Tanenbaum, electric guitar player Nick Gertsson, and Lucie Lynch’s powerful vocals. Locals Only Featuring Yoozilla Live
Electric Palms Hawaii presents Locals Only featuring Yoozilla and special guests Jecht, Debin and Vissex at The Safehouse. By age 18, Yoozilla was a known name in Honolulu nightlife and by 21 she quickly became one of Honolulu’s top bartenders. She crashed into the party promotion scene when she co-founded Honolulu’s premier monthly party, ChittyBang. Debin’s meteoric rise to the forefront of Honolulu’s night life scene has sparked curiosity over who he is, and just how he was able to establish himself as a DJ in such a relatively short amount of time. Vissex has become synonymous with “bounce.” His personality, his music, and even his dancing have such bouncy characteristics. A local uprising talent and a member of the Electric Palms Marketing team Jecht’s funky and unique style has landed him sharing stages with acts like Morgan Page. Honolulu’s coolest pop-up vinyl dealership — Secret Record Store — sets up shop in Kakaako’s best cocktail lounge — BEVY. Buy new vinyl, have an amazing crafted beverage and enjoy delicious tapas. DJ sets by DJ Monkey and more. Secret Record Store is a mobile pop-up store that sells vinyl albums that range from Latin jazz to punk rock to Motown soul to reggae. The Imperial Court of Hawaii 9th Annual Lucky Charms
