Brother Noland Live
Hawaii music legend Brother Noland performs at Lola’s Grill and Pupu Bar April 22-23. Doors open at 8 p.m. and show starts at 9 p.m. Blayne Asing will be the special guest for both nights, along with many of Brother Noland’s fellow musician friends. Brother Noland is also a member of the Rough Riders, along with Henry Kapono and John Cruz. Credited with the birth of “Jawaiian” (fusion of Hawaiian and reggae) music, Brother Noland also excels in traditional Hawaiian music, slack key and Hawaiian swing. Train With A Martial Arts Legend
Richard Bustillo, former student of Bruce Lee, hosts two days of martial arts training at HMC Academy from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 23 and 1-7 p.m. April 24. The Saturday clinic features MMA and JKD, while the Sunday class focuses on Filipino Kali and Cacoy Doce Pares Eskrima. Classes are appropriate for all skills levels. Electric Palms Hawaii presents Morgan Page performing live at The Republik. American progressive and electro house DJ Morgan Page is back!
