THE JOY OF SAKE HONOLULU
The world’s largest sake celebration outside Japan has announced the cities and dates of its 2016 world tour. The Joy of Sake serves as the public tasting that follows the U.S National Sake Appraisal, which is held in Honolulu every July. More than 160 breweries enter their best junmai, ginjo and daiginjo labels in the competition. Event takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hawaii Convention Center. Tickets available online. OPHELIA — AN EXHIBITION BY LIZ MILLER

Known for their uniquely infectious, high-energy live shows, The EC Twins invade SKY Waikiki. GOODWILL GOES GLAM!
Goodwill Hawaii is pleased to announce that Kini Zamora, 2016 “Project Runway” All-Star contestant, will return to produce the fashion show on the opening night of the nonprofit’s annual event, Goodwill Goes GLAM! presented by Bank of Hawaii Foundation at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. Event takes place July 21-24. The theme for the 2016 GLAM! fashion show is “Doll Me Up.” This year aspiring local designers, including students from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Maui College, Honolulu Community College and Kaimuki’s ME+U Sewing, are being invited to audition to be apart of Zamora’s GLAM! team. RVCA SAMPLE SALE
The Republik presents the RVCA Sample Sale also featuring Billabong and Brixton clothing lines with men’s, women’s, boys swim-wear and accessories. In 2001, Pat Tenore had an idea, jotted it down on a napkin, and launched what would soon become RVCA from his garage. The premise at the brand’s inception was “the balance of opposites,” and his concept was to integrate different subcultures within one platform by connecting a diverse network of individuals with a common thread. PBR & Country 97.5 present the 11th Annual Wahiawa & Pearl Family Dental Care Country Showdown Finals live at The Republik. The event is part of America’s largest country music talent show. It’s designed to find the most promising country music talent in the nation and to give these performers a chance to launch their professional music careers. The Country Showdown begins each spring with more than 450 local talent contests sponsored by country music radio stations throughout the US.
