Growing up in Ewa, Greg Quizon always seemed to be surrounded by quality cars — dropped Hondas and polished VIPs, most notably — and the constant exposure helped create within him a passion for the modification scene. He started off with Hondas, including classics such as the ’85 Prelude and the eponymous Civic hatchback, but also displayed a bit of a wild streak with a 2002 Mustang. Eventually, his tastes became more refined with the purchase of a Honda S2000, then a fully modified, show-quality Infiniti G35, and finally a pair of Lexus models: the IS250 and IS350. Recently, though, his eyes have been drawn to this stunning Electron Blue Lexus ISF.

With the ISF, Quizon brought his modification game to a more luxurious make of car. He began his mod list initially with a set of solid KW V3 coilovers. Then, with the drop in place, he began making more changes to this beauty of a ride, including adding the OEM window visors, custom black window lingers, upgraded emblems and a sexy new front grill.

As he continued tacking on the minor mods, Quizon believed the time was right to install the incredible Wald Black Bison kit. The body kit, which he purchased online, came with a crazy cool front apron, sculpted rear diffuser and trunk spoiler, and combining the kit items with the Lexon carbon fiber side skirts totally changed the look of the car. A Jun roof spoiler was also added to create a bit more spice. Streamline Performance did the honors of installing the kit, and Nuskool FX performed the superb paintjob.

Even with the new look, Oahu’s roads threatened to take a toll on this newly kitted vehicle. Therefore, Quizon decided to take it one better than the coilovers and turned to Airrrex for the installation of its Accuair e-level management system. The system allowed Greg to handle the gnarly bumps and potholes while being able to drop it when needed. This setup features the standard Airrex kit cleanly installed in the trunk and features Airrex struts with a Dakota digital gauge to monitor the pressure. The system features three presets to switch between at will.

The 416HP V8-powered ISF is no slouch to begin with, so some bolt-on performance was added. A Takeda intake, Sikky headers and a Borla Catback exhaust helped to bring up the numbers and allowed the engine to breathe a bit more.

The absolutely disgusting wheels are of the SSR SP3 variety, set in custom gloss black with a svelte step lip. They’re staggered with 19×9.5 fronts and 19×10.5s in the rear and covered in stretched OHTSU tires. The fenders are rolled to accommodate the drop as well.

Quizon believes that nothing is impossible when it comes to modifying. Blessed by his family and friends, he says, “Whatever your dreams are, just go for it.”
