Since he was a little kid, Luis Gomez has always wanted a BMW.  Although his first ride was a Cadillac CTS, before he was in his 20’s he was already the proud owner of a BMW 325ci.  It was his first true intro into the world of European luxury cars. Although this ride was primarily for going from point a to b, it would eventually lead down the path to this beautifully modified 2011 BMW 325i.

He wasn’t always a modified-car guy, but while Luis was young, he lived in San Diego and had a job at a warehouse that sold automotive parts. Many of the customers drove super-modified rides including the builders of that insanely infamous GT-4586, which obviously left a serious impression on him. It’s at this point in time, that the modification bug hit him.

Fast forward to now…purchased here in Hawaii, Gomez has built a ride that turns heads thanks to the purple glory of the KPMF Matte Iced Amethyst Titanium wrap…certainly a mouthful at that.  Vinyl wrap makes sense for him, since it protects the original paint, while offering color alternatives that can be easily removed. Dom Branstad of OECC made the wrap happen, resulting in a beautifully shaded stunner that accents the curve of the Beamer.  The sick Duke Dynamics quad diffuser combines nicely with the M-Performance kit and carbon fiber spoiler amidst all of that amazing purple splendor.

“I was told if you were going to wrap a car…you have to choose something really unique. I didn’t see purple out there, so it was the perfect fit” says Luis.

Performance-wise, Gomez is extremely proud of the work he’s put into the car.  This is certainly something to be proud of and includes all of the bolt-on components such as the BMS Performance CAI and the VRSF components that provide more pep for the ride.  A much larger PSP front mount intercooler contributes to more power, while Wedge Performance has handled the overall tune. Rad Motorsports contributed the custom exhaust that gives this ride it’s burly rumble.

The vehicle is lowered on H&R Race lowering springs paired with Bilstein shocks.  Whiteline sway bar end-links are also mated to M-Performance sway bars in both the front and rear.  The wheels are Forgestar F14 that are set in Super Deep Concave Gloss Black and sized 19×9.5 in the front with 19x11s in the rear. Super grippy Hankook Ventus V12 Evo Fs contribute the contact patch for the ride.

The interior has been kept classy thanks to the inclusion of a host of sexy upgrades such as the 4D carbon fiber wrapped trim and some of the most amazing floormats I’ve ever seen manufactured by East Coast Trendz. A ton of M-Performance options have been included as well leaving this car as a complete all-rounder when it comes to performance and design both inside and out.

“No matter where you start, no matter what car you have, it’s all about making your mark” says Luis. Words to live by.
