Without a doubt, JP Damo is a true Honda enthusiast. Since the age of 17, he has owned and modified 12 different Honda models, including Accords, Civics, CRXs and Integras. Now, he’s the proud owner of one of the ultimate two-seater sport coupes — a heavily modified 2006 Honda S2000.

From the beginning, it was love at first sight. Upon his first test drive, Damo convinced himself that “I was going to get this car!”

Everything from the exterior to the engine has been worked over. The result is simply impressive, so much so that Damo recently grabbed a first-place trophy at the 2016 SPOCOM show. The win is deserving as Damo did 75 percent of the work necessary to take this car to the next level.

This ride is stunning as the aggressive exterior features a Voltex carbon fiber bumper with racing canards. This is paired with Circuit Garage front over fenders and Industry Garage rear over fenders, RX7 CF side diffusers and a JDP Engineering rear diffuser. More goodies include the Mugen hardtop that drops down to an Air Walker rear duckbill combined with an absolutely enormous Battle Aero chassis mounted wing. All of this is lathered in a custom white pearl flake that makes the body glow in the dark of night.

Adding to this ride’s stance is a set of Titan Silver SSR MS3 wheels mounted with SSR lugnuts and Toyo R888 tires. The suspension hasn’t been ignored and also features a Buddy Club N1+ fully adjustable suspension and SPC ball joints. When combined with the extreme set of exterior kit, this car looks like a track star through and through.

Damo was worried that without all of this show, he didn’t have the go. With power on his mind, he upgraded to a turbo kit featuring a T4 precision dual BB 6266 turbo setup with ID 1000cc injectors. All of the necessary components to keep this system reliable were installed, including many Full Blown parts as well as the important Hondata Flashpro Engine management system. The net result is a pavement-scorching 446WHP and 350TQ that make this car much more than just pretty to look at.

The cozy interior cockpit features a set of Bride Vios III seats with matching Takata Harness.  Additional controls and monitors include the svelte Mugen suede steering wheel connected with a Works Bell Japan rap fix hub and quick release. The canopy and chassis is strengthened thanks to a Ballade sports roll bar.

This car took a year to build as Damo often worked on it six days a week. The results are clean, gorgeous and powerful. Just look at it. The proof is in the pearls.
