It started with coil-overs.  It must always start with something, but for Aaron Fune that was the trigger.  It’s hard to imagine a stock 2003 Infiniti G35 when you feast your eyes on this incredible ride. It’s no ordinary G.

Although he’s owned several import rides before, once Fune “got a real job,” everything went full blast with this build. Although he always tells himself to keep it simple, the next day he’s online shopping for parts. He’s the type of guy who wants to get it done, so he makes it happen.

This car is a visual smorgasbord. It’s how Fune sees it — aesthetics are important. Not to mention, getting tickets because you’ve got an itchy foot and gobs of horsepower is a bad recipe for your budget. So, this ride has an extensive list of visual modifications that create this tasty centerpiece.

The gorgeous, fully custom widebody kit had its beginnings with Carbon Crown front and Ulterior Motives rear flares that have been extended to 6.5 inches and are combined with a Kuruma front bumper.  urther visual additions are the Carbon Gialla Grille, the Outcast carbon front splitter and the intimidating VIS carbon fiber vented hood.

Outcast Garage carbon fiber skirt lips are matched to Nismo sideskirts, which along with the rear bumper have been widened with fiberglass and match perfectly with the Top Secret diffuser.  To bring a bit of color separation, black Enzo headlights and an Outcast Garage carbon fiber trunk add a little darkness to the affair — not to mention the tinted 06 tails.

The wheels are “steebspecd” and custom re-worked and former Work Emotions CRKai that have been cut and welded to a different barrel, then powder-coated, resulting in 19-by-12s in the rear and 19-by-11.5 in the front. They are truly one-of-a-kind. And just behind them, sit a sweet set of Brembo brakes to complete the package. All of this is dropped onto by an Airlift Performance Air Suspension kit. The look is slammed and satisfying.

The interior has been mildly modified and includes an Illestx Momo steering wheel paired with a Mishimoto shift knob and Panasonic dash with carbon layover kit. A P3 12-inch sub is also matched with a Pioneer amp to help crank out the tunes.

And although the visuals are the highlight, the performance hasn’t been neglected. A Vortech Supercharger combined with 850CC injectors and a selection of bolt-ons help to push power to 426HP/360TQ. It’s got it where it counts and it’s able to put the power to the ground, thanks to a combo of a JWT flywheel and JWT clutch. The entire package has been tuned by Garage Munky with Osirus RevUp.

In the end, Fune is all about making his own decisions. Not because it’s the trend or the anti-trend. But because it’s what he wants — if you like it, you like it.
