Brandon Pau has been an automobile lover since his days of driving around in a 1973 Toyota Celica, but family life — including raising three children — required him to put his love for cars in the trunk for a number of years. But with his last child set to graduate from high school, the trunk is once again open, allowing Pau to jump back into the modifying scene with a 2015 Scion TC — a porcelain- white beauty that is primed for the next level.

Pau’s principal move came in choosing Airrex for the car’s first big modification. This ride is so low the wheels had to be completely straight to tuck. Marshall Lum installed the Airrex Elite series with Specialty Suspensions tank and dual 444 VIAIR compressors.

Mod Industries did the honors of installing a fully sponsored Nia Auto Design kit featuring eyelids, front and side splitters and rear aprons. Work Emotion CR2Ps have been color matched and Revision Audio dropped the Kumho Ecsta tires, which fit nicely under the rolled fenders by Js4Kix. The lights have also been upgraded to 6K HIDs as well as LED reverse lights by Autocustoms. The resulting look is slick, sexy and very clean.

The interior has been done over to match the exterior. Clazzio front and rear covers have been installed to color match the custom white door panel inserts, which were installed courtesy of Fred’s Auto Top Shop. The door handles, speedo/tachometer, shifter plate, and shift knob have also been color matched by VPR.

Along with the stunning interior, the trunk is absolutely immaculate with a full enclosure install by JSP Auto Audio. The audio consists of a Pioneer head unit pumping sounds through the X-fire 8-inch sub enclosure that has been fabricated and fitted to match the custom Airrex installation in the trunk floor. It’s absolutely stunning and matches the car perfectly.

Pau isn’t done with his modifications yet, but he’s happy with his current setup. Some minor power modifications have been added and include an Injen short ram and TRD catback exhaust, but there’s more to come along with new kit.

“I love my car,” he says. “This is fun; it brings me joy. I love planning it out and bringing it to reality.”
